Pest Defense: The Battle Strategy For Your Home

At Blessed Pest Control, we don’t just show up, spray, and hope for the best—Just like a football play, we take a strategic approach to keeping your home protected and form the ultimate "Battle Strategy". That’s why we use Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a smart, science-backed method that goes beyond just pesticides to stop pests at the source.

Instead of just treating what you see, we identify entry points, remove what’s attracting pests, and apply targeted treatments where they work best. This means less chemical use, stronger long-term results, and a healthier home for you and your family. Our goal isn’t just to get rid of pests today—it’s to make sure they don’t come back. That’s the Blessed Pest Control way!

Breaking It All Down!

1. Inspection

We go above and beyond with every service we provide. It’s not just about treating the issue at hand—we take a proactive approach by conducting a thorough, top-to-bottom inspection of your property. Whether it’s your first service or a routine follow-up, we meticulously assess for pests, rodents, wildlife, and termites, ensuring that no potential threat goes unnoticed.

Our inspection doesn’t stop at just identifying pests. We carefully examine entry points, conducive conditions, and structural vulnerabilities that could invite unwanted guests into your home or business. By addressing these factors, we help prevent future infestations before they start. If there’s something that needs your attention—whether it’s a small gap in the foundation, moisture issues, or overgrown landscaping creating shelter for pests—you can count on us to bring it to light and offer the best solutions.

2. Interior Treatment

A thorough interior pest control treatment is all about precision, effectiveness, and ensuring your home becomes a fortress against invading pests! We apply a high-quality, residual insecticide along baseboards, entry points, and moisture-prone areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and around plumbing fixtures—anywhere excess humidity or leaks might attract pests. Baits and gel formulations are placed in cracks and crevices where roaches and ants are known to travel, while dust insecticides may be applied inside wall voids and bath traps for maximum reach. Attics can also be treated as needed, depending on pest activity. For more stubborn infestations, insect growth regulators (IGRs) are used to disrupt breeding cycles, ensuring pests don’t return stronger than before. Every treatment is carefully applied with safety in mind, creating a long-lasting barrier that keeps pests out and peace of mind in!

3. Exterior Foundation

Our exterior foundation spray treatment creates a powerful barrier around your home or business, stopping pests before they can invade. Depending on the pest issue and property needs, we use repellents or non-repellents to ensure the most effective control. Our treatment targets key areas like foundation walls, windows, doors, and entry points with a long-lasting solution that eliminates pests and prevents future infestations. This proactive approach provides year-round protection and peace of mind.

4. Granule Application

Take control of your yard with our Granule Application (Up to 1 Acre)! We spread premium insecticide granules across your lawn, where they sink deep into the soil to eliminate ants and other pests at the source. Unlike spray treatments that only work on the surface, granules deliver long-lasting protection, reaching hidden colonies and continuing to work even after rain or watering. This means a more thorough and effective solution to keep your outdoor space protected.

5. Wasp Nest & Spiderweb Removal

Cobwebs and wasp nests aren’t just unsightly—they can also indicate ongoing pest activity around your home. Spiders spin webs in areas where they find food, and wasps build nests in sheltered spots like eaves and patios, posing a potential sting hazard. At Blessed Pest Control, we go beyond simple removal by treating our removal tool with a specialized dust that helps prevent these pests from returning. Our service covers accessible areas up to the second story, ensuring a more thorough and lasting solution. Regular maintenance can keep your home looking clean while reducing pest problems before they get worse.

  • How often should I get a pest control service?
We recommend quarterly treatments for the best long-term pest protection, as this keeps a consistent barrier around your home year-round. However, every home is different, and the ideal frequency depends on factors like pest activity, location, and seasonality. Whether you need monthly, bi-monthly, or a customized plan, we’ll tailor our service to fit your needs. Even if you just need a one-time treatment, any pest control is better than none!
  • What pests does your general pest control service cover?
Our general pest control service is designed to handle common household pests, including ants, cockroaches, flies, millipedes, centipedes, crickets, pillbugs, spiders, scorpions, wasps, and hornets. These pests are effectively controlled with our routine treatments, creating a strong and lasting barrier around your home. While our treatments can kill or help prevent other pests—such as German cockroaches, fleas, ticks, chiggers, bed bugs, mosquitoes, and wood-destroying insects like carpenter ants, carpenter bees, termites, and wood-boring beetles—these pests require specialized treatment plans. Rodents and wildlife often require exclusion work and habitat modifications that go beyond standard pest control.
  • Are the products you use safe for my family and pets?
Yes! Our treatments are designed to be safe for your family and pets. We use high-quality, professional-grade products formulated to target pests while minimizing risk to people and pets. However, as a precaution, we require keeping children and pets away from treated areas until the products have dried, which typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour. If you have any specific concerns, we’re happy to discuss treatment options to ensure the safety of your loved ones.
  • Do I need to leave my home during the service?
No, you do not need to leave your home during the service. Our treatments are applied safely and strategically, allowing you to remain inside while we work. However, we require pets and small children to stay away from treated areas until products have dried, which typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. If you have any sensitivities or concerns, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate your needs!
  • How long does the treatment take to work?
The treatment starts working immediately upon contact, but the full results depend on the type of pest and the severity of the infestation. Some pests may die off quickly, while others may take a few days to die as they come into contact with the treated areas. In most cases, you’ll notice a significant reduction within a few days, with full effectiveness within one to two weeks. For ongoing prevention, our treatments are designed to provide long-lasting protection and stop new infestations before they start.
  • How long does the service take to complete?
Our general pest control service typically takes about an hour, but the exact time can vary based on the size of your home and the level of infestation. If you’re on a tight schedule or need to leave during the service, we can prioritize the interior treatment first, allowing you to head out while we finish up the exterior. We can even treat if you are not home. We’re happy to work around your needs to make the process as convenient and hassle-free as possible!
  • Will I see more bugs after the first service?
Yes, it’s possible to see more pests after the first treatment—but that’s actually a good sign! Our products flush pests out of their hiding spots, making them more visible before they come into full contact with the treatment and die off. This is especially common with roaches, ants, and spiders. You should see a significant reduction within a few days, with full effectiveness within one to two weeks. If you still notice persistent activity after that, let us know—we’ll make sure the problem is fully resolved!
  • What areas of my home do you treat?
We treat all key areas of your home to ensure complete pest protection—inside and out—unless you tell us otherwise. This includes: • Interior: Baseboards, entry points, under sinks, around appliances, garages, and any problem areas. • Exterior: Foundation, windows, doorways, eaves, patios, and outdoor pest hotspots. • Yard (up to one acre): Granular treatments for added protection. • Attic & Crawl Spaces: If accessible, we can treat these areas to stop pests at the source. • Weep Holes, Cobwebs, and Wasp Nests: We remove webs and nests and apply dust to weep holes for extra defense. If there’s any area you don’t want treated, just let us know—we’re happy to customize the service to your preference!
  • Do you offer exterior only treatments?
Yes, we do offer exterior-only treatments. While we recommend treating the interior on the first service to establish full protection, it’s not required. Choosing exterior-only service won’t change the price, and if you ever need the inside treated or notice pests indoors, we’ll take care of it at no extra charge—no upcharges, no hassle!
  • Does your service include a yard treatment?
Yes, our general pest control service includes yard treatment up to one acre. If your yard is larger than an acre, we can still provide additional coverage for an extra charge. Just let us know your needs, and we’ll make sure your entire property gets the protection it deserves!
  • Do you remove spiderwebs and wasp nests?
Yes! We remove cobwebs and wasp nests from accessible eaves, patios, and other areas around your home during every service. This helps prevent future infestations and keeps your home looking clean.
  • Do you treat attic spaces and crawl spaces?
Yes! If accessible, we can treat attics and crawl spaces as part of our general pest control service to eliminate hidden pests and prevent infestations from taking hold in these areas.
  • What happens if I still see pests after treatment?
Our treatments are highly effective, but if you’re still seeing pests after two weeks, let us know! We stand by our service and will reassess and retreat if necessary to ensure we are keeping pests out of your home.
  • Can the weather affect my treatment?
Light rain usually won’t impact treatments, but heavy rain may require us to reschedule exterior applications. If weather affects your service, we’ll work with you to ensure your home still gets the protection it needs.
  • How much does your General Pest Control service cost?
Our pricing is based strictly on the square footage of your home and the frequency of service—we do not charge based on location. Whether you need a one-time treatment, quarterly service, or a customized plan, we offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Contact us for a free quote tailored to your home’s size and pest control needs! We offer a military discount to our veterans to thank them for their service to our country.
  • Do you offer any guarantees or warranties?
Yes! All quarterly recurring services come with a full warranty between services, meaning if pests return inside, we’ll come back at no extra charge. One-time services include a 60-day warranty, ensuring you’re covered if any issues persist after treatment. Our goal is to keep your home pest-free with reliable, long-lasting protection!
  • Are follow-up treatments included in the price?
If you’re on a quarterly recurring service plan, follow-ups are included as part of your regular protection. If you’re on a one-time service, we’ll discuss options for follow-ups as needed.
  • Do you provide free inspections?
Yes! Every service includes a FREE inspection for rodents, wildlife, and termites to ensure we catch potential problems before they become major infestations.
  • Is there a service contract or can I do a one-time service?
We NEVER do contracts! Instead, we provide a service agreement that gets sent before we arrive for you to review. This agreement simply outlines the service and guarantees the rate we quoted, so you know exactly what to expect. You also have the right to cancel service at any time, with no questions asked and no penalties or associated fees—though we’d be sad to lose you! For one-time services, we have a separate agreement that highlights the warranty provided. We believe in offering flexible, transparent service with no long-term commitments or surprises!
  • What can I do to keep pests away between treatments?
While our treatments create a strong barrier against pests, there are a few things you can do to help maintain a pest-free home between services: • Keep food sealed and clean up crumbs to eliminate food sources. • Take out the trash regularly and keep lids tightly closed. • Reduce moisture buildup by fixing leaks and using dehumidifiers in damp areas. • Seal entry points like cracks, gaps around windows/doors, and damaged screens. • Store firewood and yard debris away from the home to deter pests. • Keep up with lawn maintenance to reduce hiding spots for pests. Following these steps, combined with regular pest control treatments, will ensure long-term protection and keep pests from making a comeback!
  • How do I know if I have a large infestation?
A few pests here and there are normal, but if you’re noticing frequent activity, increasing numbers, or pests in multiple areas, you may have a larger infestation. Some key signs include: • Seeing pests during the day (many pests, like roaches and rodents, are nocturnal—daytime activity can mean a large population). • Frequent sightings in multiple rooms or areas of your home. • Droppings, shed skins, or egg casings, especially in hidden areas like behind appliances or inside cabinets. • Unusual odors, which can come from pest droppings or nests. • Damage to food packaging, wires, or wood, which can indicate rodents, termites, or other destructive pests. • Hearing scratching or rustling sounds inside walls, attics, or crawl spaces, especially at night. If you’re experiencing any of these signs, it’s best to act quickly—pest populations multiply fast! We can inspect, assess, and customize a treatment plan to eliminate the problem before it worsens.
